Modern and absolutely fantastic accommodation. Magnificent setting a short walk to the town center, restaurants, and shops. Wooden furniture and private bathroom in the room. Mini bar, climate control, and flat-screen TV available. Really comfortable stay, as always.

it was an incredibly beautiful hotel in a nice enough area, very close to the centre of the town, a nice restaurant and railway station. the location was great - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go. also, it was 5 min drive from a public library.

Had the guest room which was modern with a terrace. A mini-fridge-bar, air conditioning, and a work desk were available here. The location was comfortable - close enough to the train station and the town centre.

Mind-blowing receptionist who went above and beyond with local restaurant recommendations and a delightful packed breakfast. Secure in-room bike storage.

Really helpful front desk staff. Great location near the train station and the trailhead for the Via Francigena.- Nice large room with a lift for luggage and good air conditioning.
Neglected and rundown rooftop that could have been a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. Non-existent wifi despite the website claiming it was available.

I recently stayed at Hotel Ghibellino for a few nights while exploring the beautiful city of Buonconvento. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. Our spacious room comfortably fit three of us, and the hotel's location in the historic part of the city was convenient. We loved that there was a nearby COOP for any necessities. I highly recommend this modern and comfortable hotel.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

This hotel is located in a lovely village and is close to everything. You can easily explore the town, visit restaurants, and shop around. The staff is friendly and provides a warm welcome, making a great first impression. The rooms are basic but comfortable, and I appreciated having a fridge in the room. Furthermore, the hotel offers a terrace where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings. The breakfast provided is decent and a good start to the day.
All was fine during my stay.

This hotel offers everything you could hope for: attentive and friendly staff, well-designed rooms with plenty of storage space and a fridge, and a delicious breakfast. Plus, the location is perfect - it's close to the old town, train station, restaurants, and shops. I also loved having a room with a terrace, it added an extra touch of charm to my stay.
No improvements needed, everything was great.

the hotel is modern and smart looking, and it is located by a quiet square where I could observe people meeting and chatting. the room was spacious with a long wide shelf along the window, which served as a writing table. the bathroom, part of the tower, had an interesting curved design. the entire hotel was impeccably clean. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and they were kind enough to communicate with me in my basic Italian.
I highly recommend Ghibellino as a treat for anyone on the Via Francigena. Cons: Nothing could have been better!
